“The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest the patient in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
-ThomasEdison
I came across this quote when I was chiropractic school and have loved it ever since. As our nation has begun to reflect upon itself and see that it is being plagued with obesity and early onset diabetes, more people have begun to turn to preventative measures to ensure they live a long and healthy life. As a chiropractor, I am able to advise my patients about vitamins, guide them in nutritional choices, give them stretches and exercises that will help prevent muscular injury, and, of course, adjust their spines to increase motion, support the nervous system, and enable them to feel and function better. Chiropractic is an all in one package for preventative medicine. Just like dentist teach their patients how to brush and floss in between visit to maintain a healthy smile, as chiropractors we teach our patients how to take care of their neuromusculoskeletal system (nerves, muscles, and bones) between adjustments. Come in today and ask me how chiropractic can help improve your health.
