B9 - Tetrahydrofolate aka Folate

    B9 is a vitamin that is essential when it comes to blood cell formation, neural tube development, and DNA/RNA synthesis.  This is why B9 is so important for the developing fetus and is commonly found in prenatal vitamins.  B9 also helps to increase the functionality of your immune system and helps fight off depression and anxiety.  This vitamin works best when combined with B12, which will be discussed tomorrow, and vitamin C (possibly discussed in the near future).  
    Like other B vitamins, foods high in B9 include: brewer's yeast, wheat germ, whole wheat, various fruits and veggies.  If your feeling adventurous try topping off your air popped popcorn with extra virgin olive oil and brewer's yeast instead of butter and salt.  It might take some getting used to, but I can tell
